Shankar Anant Sawant started his professional career on ocean going vessels where he worked for a full decade before he decided to plunge into the more challenging Offshore Industry. The necessary training and certifications were obtained upto the highest UK standards , both his COC , Unlimited and Dynamic Positioning certificates Unlimited are from Glasgow, UK.During his stint as DPO and SDPO he has had exposure to Offshore vessels operating in various countries and on varied assignments from Saturation Diving to 7th Generation Deep water Drilling ships and Semi-Subs , FPSO and latest world 7 th Generation Heavy lift and pipe lay vessels doing S-Lay , J-Lay and F-lay operation world wide having Konsberg K-chief, Alstom, NMS 6000,Convrteam DP Consoles from 3rdGeneration to 7th Generation vessels . This has exposed him to the latest, most modern equipment and systems and procedures of best operators in the Off Shore Industry world wide. ...He has gained experience and in depth knowledge while working for Petronas, Shell BP, Pemex mexico, Exxon mobile USA, Shell USA in North Sea, US Gulf, Mexico, Trinidad, Persian Gulf, Mediterranean, South China Sea, East coast India , Sakhalin island and Holding Petronas and Shell BP approval to work in their respective oil fields .Having had such varied experience he has now decided to focus and concentrate on Chartering & operation of vessels on a full time basis and is confident of transforming his knowledge and experience into operating offshore vessels business in a manner which is safe for the sea feyar and efficient and cost effective for the owner and Charters world wide for their vessels requirement to run overseas trade.
